Florian Esterer, CFA, Vice President of CFA Society Switzerland said: "Swiss CFA Society has organized the CFA Institute Research Challenge in Switzerland for the fourth year. Over the last few years, the number of participating students increased every year which shows how important initiatives to combine academic concepts and practical applications are. With educational initiatives such as the CFA Institute Reserach Challenge, CFA Institute endeavors to further improve the degree of professionalism in the financial services industry. After their graduation, students have the possibility to sit for the examinations to earn the CFA Designation".
We are enormously grateful to the large number of CFA Charterholder volunteers from of our Swiss membership base who supported us in this important educational initiative in Switzerland, being 8 judges, 18 graders and as many as 24 mentors from all regions of Switzerland. We also acknowledge the generous sponsoring of Credit Suisse through its Campus Recruiting Switzerland as well as the media partnership with Tamedia. Those two institutions have been supporting us for the fourth year in a row.
