CFA Institute Research Challenge: Team from University of Lausanne prevails
A team from the University of Lausanne won the eleventh edition of the CFA Institute Research Challenge in Switzerland. The University of Lausanne thus strengthens its position as a leader for the study of finance in Switzerland. A team from the University of Zurich wrote the best written report.
In Switzerland and Liechtenstein, a total of 23 teams from eight universities and universities of applied sciences with a total of over 130 students competed in the preliminary rounds. Worldwide, over 6100 students from 1000+ universities in 96 countries took part.
The CFA Institute Research Challenge recognizes the best presentation and case study by a team of students on a listed company. In 2020, the student analysts from Switzerland focused on Swiss high-tech company u-blox (UBXN SW). u-blox develops and distributes chips and modules for electronic systems in the field of positioning and wireless communication.
