Event Details

Central banks face both structural and cyclical challenges. Regarding structural challenges, a number of factors continue to exert downward pressure on interest rates, which has resulted in very low levels of equilibrium interest rates. At the same time, the signs from the global economy are mixed, with significant risks to the downside.

Against this backdrop, monetary policy has become more difficult than in the past.
