Anne is considered a pioneer of the mutual fund industry and started her career in 1989 at Pioneer Investments in Boston. She returned to her native country Germany in 1992 where she held senior roles in sales and marketing at Pioneer Investments (now Amundi). Anne joined Morningstar in 2001 as country manager and managing director. She was responsible for business and operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and established the Morningstar brand and business in these markets. In 2009 she took on a European management role for Morningstar Europe. In 2016 Anne changed her career path and is now focused on gender topics in the finance industry. She is the founder of herMoney.de, Germanys online finance magazine for women. Anne initiated and manages the career network “Fondsfrauen”. She is an independent board member at Bayern Invest, a local fund company.
