Event Details

The US-China conflict has been moving the global financial market in the past twenty months.  Despite the prospect of trade agreements, this is only the beginning of the US-China rivalry.

Such rivalry will reshape China in the coming decade, accelerating China’s transition to a consumption and innovation driven economy.  Tech will be a main battle ground of the US-China rivalry, with China aiming to catch up to the US in technology innovation and widen the lead in the digital economy. On the consumer front, while embracing foreign brands, the Chinese millennials are pushing forward a National Wave. Certain industries in Asia and Europe could benefit from the opportunities created by the US-China rivalry.
